Find people search is one of the biggest searches on the internet today. Over 30% of searches are searching for people with which they have lost connection.

One such story that hits close to home is that of my very own uncle. When he was “young” he had a son and things didn’t work out with his wife. They ended up splitting up and he did not hear anything from his son until he was 18 but he still did not feel that he was ready to be in contact with him.

10 years later he felt as if his life was gotten back together enough to contact his son… problem? Yes, he had no idea where his son was or how to contact him. The place where he had last heard of his son and ex wife living was a no go since they had not lived there for quite some time.

I talked to him and told him that he could actually use find people search to find his son online. I performed a search and there were a couple of the people that had the same name. I got the results and one of the sites gave us not only his address but his current phone number!

Some people attempt to find people by searching on google. At times this can be done but it is not the best way to go about it since the results can really be anyone. If you decide to search through google make sure you add some additional information on your search like a birthdate so that you can find the right person.

The whitepages are sometimes used when people are trying to search for lost loved one but once again they are not the best place to do people searches. I have not been able to find anyone that I wanted to find through the whitepages but it’s always worth a look I guess.
